Last week-end I went to see "Les Enfants de Timpelbach" (The Children of Timpelbach) , and it was really funny and sweet. And it was just so surprising to see a french movie with such an esthetic choice... It's good. We are the country who invented the cinema, and now, all we can do is freaky romantical-dramatic comedy, very... presomptuous. It's very rare we have good movies, BIG movies.
It was a mix between Burton, Jeunet, Terry Gilliams universes, very oniric... The lights and photography were superbs.
Anyway, the costums were great too, and my favorite was Charlotte, played by the young Ilona Bachelier. She's so cute !! So here a little fanart of her !
